“Not only are bloggers suckers for the remarkable, so are the people who read blogs .” - Seth Godin
Introduction:
If you run a website, chances are you already have a blog. And if you don’t, maybe you should start one. A blog can boost your brand awareness, increase conversions, and improve customer service.
Blogs help you connect with your audience on a more personal level and allow them to interact with you in an individual capacity. Blogging also helps to present viewers with fresh content regularly.
With that said, here are a few more details to my variations!
1. Adding Dates:
Dates bring a caramel flavor, that almost can taste like a soft toffey flavor, Yum! (This makes me want to learn to make my Aunt Thelma's Pinwheel Date cookies, but they're not raw so back to) Nutrition is phenomenal in dates! They have high fiber, which supports clean bowels, with "smooth moving" results.
High in Antioxidants. Eating foods that support the elimination of toxins is essential to keep our bodies strong against disease & discomfort.
Supports a healthy brain and mood. High in minerals to support healthy bones. Low glycemic index as a natural sweetener. Sourced from: Healthline Website
3. Chocolate Chips
Any kind will do based on your personal eating preferences. One of my favorite are the Enjoy Life Mini Chips, because of the small sized chips, and allergen free. I also enjoy Lily's Milk Chocolate or Dark Chocolate chips, if you're looking for a white sugar free option.
4. Brown Rice Crisps
Of course any type of rice Krispies will work, I just prefer the Barbara's Brown Rice Crisps. This brings a super fun crunch, and granola bar like enjoyment. DON'T add too many, or the cookies will have a hard time sticking together.
5. Cinnamon, Oats, & Raisins/Dates
This tastes soo good, and if you've never eaten frozen raisins in a frozen cookie before the texture is chewy amazingness! The cinnamon, oats, and raisins bring an oatmeal cookie feel to the raw cookies. Yes you can use powdered cinnamon, and I'll often throw a splash of cinnamon seasoning to the raw cookies, but I'm telling you if you've never baked with CPTG Cinnamon Essential Oil, you're missing out. Did you know most the cinnamon we get as a seasoning from the stores isn't ACTUALLY cinnamon YIKES! It's a cousin called cassia, similar, but lacking the potency, punch, & sweetness of actual cinnamon.
Soooo, if they do that with our spices what do you think some essential oil companies do as well? Yup, cinnamon is about 4x's more expensive than cassia, so companies will make more profit, if they sell you cinnamon, but dilute with cassia. Stick with CPTG, it TASTES amazing, and you can trust the third-party testing... Check that out here: CPTG TESTING
6. Peppermint & Cocoa
This is heaven and may taste like those delicious cookies the scouts that are girls sell outside stores!!! Yes, a minty chocolatey goodness is what you'll enjoy. I make the scoops of these a bit smaller, just for fun of eating. Slowly add the peppermint and taste, so you don't end up too pepperminty!
Add a small amount of cocoa, and add more till it has the desired taste as well... less for more milk chocolate flavor & more sweetener. More Cocoa & less sweetener for more of a dark chocolate flavor.
When I purchase cocoa I purchase fair trade to ensure those doing the work to source it, aren't trafficked, and are paid a fair wage.
NOTE: this receipt makes about 80 cookies.. Cut in 1/2 or 1/4. (remember it's almost impossible to mess up)
15 oz Coconut Butter (click MaraNatha I like, but don't over-think get one in your budget)
2-3 Cups softned Organic Raw Coconut Oil
26 oz Organic Nuttzo (Click to see)
28 oz Organic Peanut Butter
2 cups Oatmeal (I throw in my vitamix and make into a choppy powered)
2-3 Cups Smooth or chunky chopped nuts (cashews bring more sweet smooth, Almonds bring more crunch, Pecans bring more nutty flavor)
1 Cup Honey. I usually start with less then add more if the nuts aren't sweet enough
1/4-1/2 Cup Molasses, Start small then add as needed
1 Tbl. to start. Add as desired at the end after all ingredients are mixed together
OPTIONAL ADDITIONS, I pick 1 or 2 to add:
1 cups chopped Dates
2 cups Chocolate Chips (I use non-dairy ones Enjoy Life)
15 drop cinnamon essential oil, or 2 Tbl. Cinnamon & 1-2 Cups Raisins. If I'm making these I'll leave the Oatmeal thick and un-chopped.
10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil & 1/2 cup Cocoa
What Would a Raw eBook Look Like?
The subconscious loves questions, so when I see a future project I'd love to create, I just ask the question to put it in line to get created.
